Honestly speaking I am still learning new ways to stay focused on my fitness, health goals & positive thinking. I strive to be better with my healthy eating & want to try and stick to a constant fitness regime throughout the week.. because I know I feel so much better when I do!
But in saying that I do have those days when I eat badly & just can't be bothered exercising and tell myself.. 'i'll eat better tomorrow..' 'I'll exercise tomorrow' and feel guilty & then I see a fit inspo photo on instagram..and feel even worse because I feel as though I am jeopardising my goals.
In reality it's okay to have bad days and I am learning to tell myself that I shouldn't feel guilty and it's okay to have days like those, everyone does.. they are just a part of life! it's okay to eat something bad here and there and it's okay to not exercise sometimes if I just don't feel like it.
My gal pal Kate who is a blogger at The Whole Housewife is on a journey this year of 'Self Love' which I am still learning to do myself, she has helped me to realise that the most important thing is to love yourself, to look after your body inside & out. As I quoted today on Instagram - "There is no such thing as perfect". I believe it is so true - the focus should only be on ones only self love and looking after your mind, body & soul to create your own happiness & well being.
I hope you believe in yourself & know deep down that you have the will to be the person you dream of being, surround yourself with positive people & surroundings and you too will become that way in time!
