This afternoon I am sitting here sipping on some coconut water, snacking on almonds.. I can see a storm rolling over to left out the window & I some tunes playing from iTunes radio.
This week it has been a hot topic with a few bloggers I follow doing a bit of a tech-cleanse.. I know myself I am quite regularly on my phone many times a day & night.. it can be a bit of a distraction & to constantly have my mind switched on reading, viewing & also taking in everyone else's lives through Instagram & Facebook can get a bit much sometimes instead of taking the time to relax & enjoy mine.
I mentioned via my instagram I am going to be doing a 'tech-cleanse 'of leaving my phone out of the bedroom from now on.. I've taken cue from my bestie The Whole Housewife. I generally find myself checking it before I go to sleep & first thing when I wake up.. it's turned me into a bit of a procrastinator in the morning instead of getting out of I bed, I will sit on my phone.. also because its pretty cold in the mornings too!
What are your thoughts on a tech-cleanse? Have you tried one before?
