CAFE 2 U

On Wednesday I had the pleasure of heading to the Cafe 2 U & Uber Shape Gym fitness circuit with my best gals. We started the morning with a fun but tough circuit that has my legs feeling oh so sore.. but in a good way!! I love working out with friends..it makes it so much more enjoyable and a great way to socialise and get fit at the same time.

Cafe 2 U just launched their new Protein Shake range and the best word for me to describe them is delicious.. I consumed at least three which is probably way more than I needed to but they tasted so damn good! I love that Cafe 2 U brings the goods to your work place or venue too.. if only they could deliver it to my door front every day I'd be a happy gal! I also wish Nude Sisters would deliver me their raw treats on the daily.. YUM!

NYE MAKEUP

It's nearly the new year! Have you got your NYE outfit picked? I am finalising my new years eve outfit & makeup so I can get ready when I finish work. I am jumping back on the blog today (I'm meant to be taking a break, whoops!) doing something a little different.. a beauty post.. I don't believe I have ever done one, if I have my memory must be shot! haha

I had a play around with some of Sugar Baby's products for this look the Sweet Cheeks Blusher & the Beautif-eye eyeshadow pallet and want to share the look for some inspiration for you. I love a natural, bronzed look for day & night and feel I will be doing something very similar for my NYE look. I apologise as the lighting in these images washes out my eyeshadow a little unfortunately. Also I think I will be skipping the straightened hair because my hair + the humidity = a wavy, fuzzy, mess… as you can tell my hair doesn't really look straight in the shots!

I hope you all have a beautiful & safe night celebrating the coming of the new year!
See you on the other side! xx

MELBOURNE CUP

Each year the nation stops to watch one of the most exhilarating races of the year.. The Melbourne Cup!! I have never attended the race in Melbourne but when I think of the day I think back to fond memories being young, sitting around the TV at home with my family in anticipation for who would win the sweep stakes.. I remember the horse I had chosen to win the race (Saintly) winning back in 1996 with the jockey in black & white checkers & yellow colours to this day! I only won about $5 but it was just so exciting & I always loved watching how beautifully dressed everyone was for the big day!

I won't be attending the Cup in Melbourne this year either (sigh) as I have a few things on & so I wanted to put together this outfit for some style inspiration for anyone attending the big race or attending the races as this is more than likely something I would wear to the races.. I'd probably change my mind last minute like I usually do when I have an outfit planned out in my head, then try it on and I don't like it anymore, so try the rest of my wardrobe on… Okay going off topic a little.Anyways I loved mixing this statement marble print pencil skirt (my faveee) back with a high neck pink crop with black accessories & a statement lips.. I feel it is a really classy feminine look.

I send a tonne of good luck vibes your way if you are placing a bet or if you are entering a 'Fashion's on the field' comp remember to wear something that you feel comfortable in so that you can ooze confidence & may the best horse win the cup.. Giddy Up!

LADY IN LACE

Hello there pretty lady! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a great Monday too! I have had a bit going on since I last posted from a fashion event, to work, a delicious pizza and organic beer catch up with some friends, fathers day & everything else in between.. Oh and I have been getting everything tagged and ready for my car boot sale in Burleigh this Sunday the 14th, check out the RSPCA website for more details if you'd like to come along and check out my stall for some goodies.. it feels amazing to have done some Spring cleaning!

I have also noticed.. and it is probably only me that has noticed this and I am pointing it out for no good reason.. every topic I have posted about lately has started with the letter L.. Layering, leather & now Lace..even the lace is mixed with some leather..which I must say I love mixing something so beautiful & soft with something so edgy & sharp! Anyways I will stop going off on random topics and get back to what I was meant to be writing about. I always feel classy when I wear lace..it has a lot to do with the shape & style of the garment of course, but something about lace is just so feminine and ladylike..it truly is beautiful whether it be dressed up or down!
