HOMEMADE ICED COFFEE

jeskaalee iced coffee recipe

Good Morning Beautiful & hello Friday ..I know a lot of you have one thing on your minds in the mornings and that is.. Coffee!! Am I right? I don't really drink a whole lot of it but there is a really modern but quirky coffee shop up the coast called Canteen based in Burleigh which I enjoy their oh so delicious iced coffee almost every time I eat there.. I think it's so freakin' good that I always want more (and sometimes do order another) what can I say I'm addicted!

I like it so much that I decide I would try (highlight try) to recreate it at home because sometimes it's fun getting creative in the kitchen! I have no idea of the exact ingredients in the one from Canteen but I used my wing it method and just went for feel & taste when I created this here one and sharing is caring so I wanted to share the recipe with you because I think it turned out quite well, if I do say so myself.

WHAT YOU NEED

You may like to use a fun mason jar or whatever drinking device you prefer.
You will also need: Almond + Milk + Honey + Coffee + Ice Cubes

HOW TO MAKE

You will need to make 1 x shot of coffee (or how ever much you like) using a coffee machine or instant coffee - totally up to your own preference + mix in a teaspoon of honey to the hot coffee, then let it cool. Once the coffee has cooled down slightly fill your jar with ice & pour in almond milk then add in your shot of coffee. Serve with a straw & before enjoying stir everything together with the straw until well blended.
Most importantly enjoy! x

Making your own homemade & healthy banana ice cream couldn't be easier! … yummmmm!
So Ive been doing a little pinterest-ing of late, as you know it's one of my favorite past times and there
are definitely some very detailed recipes on how to make your own ice-cream ..but I much prefer to make it this quick & simple way & the biggest plus is it is healthy too!

When it comes to my recipes as some of you would also know I like to call them 'wing it' recipes I am not one to measure things specifically, I just go with what feels right & taste test along the way!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

A Blender
Almond Milk (or other if you prefer)
4 x Ripe & Frozen bananas
Maver's Peanut Butter (or any nut spread you like)
Ground Cinnamon
Ground Nutmeg
Honey
+ shaved almonds for topping

HOW TO MAKE

Blend the 4 x Bananas + a tiny bit of almond milk (enough to let the blades glide smoothly) in your blender.
Once banana is smooth add in 2 x Tbsp of Peanut Butter + a sprinkling of the cinnamon, nutmeg & a table spoon of honey (however much you like).
Blend all ingredients until blended well.
Serve immediately for soft-serve ice cream consistency or if you just can't wait!

If you prefer harder ice cream, place it in a container in your freezer for a few hours & then indulge!

I hope you enjoy this delicious homemade ice-cream recipe, I think it's perfect for an after dinner dessert on these warmer nights!
