Somehow the Summer heat always sneaks up on us and we are needing to bare our skin to the elements to keep cool all too quickly. Some of us may not be ready to bare all as our skin isn't quite prepped for Summer yet.. I have put together some of my favorite quick tips that will help you on your way to feeling Summer skin ready!

MY TOP 4 SUMMER SKIN TIPS

EXFOLIATE
My favorite way to exfoliate is with Frank Bod.. you have no doubt heard about it or you may have even used it but if you haven't yet than I suggest you get your hands on some ASAP it will leave your skin super soft and it smells like coffeeeee!

MOISTURISE
I personally love to use a gradual tanning moisturiser to keep my skin hydrated as I love that with a hint of colour it also adds a healthy glow to my skin. Pure Tan have a really delicious smelling one I am a little obsessed with and use every day!

SUNSCREEN
The SPF numbers on your sunscreen do not necessarily mean they are more effective. Did you know that an SPF 50 protects only 2-4% more than an SPF 30? I say use a minimum of SPF 30 if you know you are going to be out in the sunshine for quite some time and always re-apply. Plus I find applying a foundation or tinted moisturiser with SPF to your face shouldn't feel as oily as applying a general sunscreen.

STAY HYDRATED
Fun fact our body is composed of about 60% water.. The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of our bodies temperature. When I drink my daily intake of water I notice a major difference in the texture of my skin and general well being when I try my best to drink plenty of water each day and coconut water because it's delicious and nutritious (Currently loving Raw C Coconut water).

"NEXT TIME YOU THINK OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS DON'T FORGET TO COUNT YOURSELF IN".

JESKAALEE

I am off on my anniversary trip today! I just wanted to let you know I'll be off the blog for a little bit but don't worry I'll be back soon & while I'm away you can catch me over on my Insta for holiday snaps!

On another note can you believe Christmas was three weeks ago & it is officially 2015!! ahh the days go by so quickly! I feel It is so important to just stop and take in the moment sometimes when life feels busy.. Whatever that moment may be cherish it, bask in it & soak it in!

On Xmas day I was excited to receive some really beautiful skin care products as gifts of a new brand to for me try out called Sanctuary Spa. I had never tried these products before & I didn't know too much about the brand but read up on the products I received & I am loving the way they make my skin feel during & after I am still amused by the heating affect of the Warming Microbrasion Polish & Thermal Detox Mask I've been using..it feels so cool.. or hot! haha

I also love the way my skin feels when using the Salt Scrub.. I've tried sugar scrubs & coffee scrubs before & don't get me wrong I still love them but I think its nice to try different products to see what results work best. I also think it's pretty rad (yep thats right, rad!) that the salt in the scrub is drained from the actual Dead Sea to create this beautiful product.. holiday skin in a jar! I am totally addicted to how fresh they make my skin feel and now want to go and buy more of their products to try out..uh oh sorry bank account!!

PS. In other news I was very excited to receive my Lorna Jane 2015 diary in the mail a few days ago full of all kinds of inspirational goodness – have you got yours? Oh and you might even see a couple of images of me inside.. Yipee!
